Making sense of the digital society: How can we understand the digital society in a better way?
Technological change is creating uncertainties in politics, society and the working environment. How can we not only better understand digital transformation processes - but also shape them? Our exhibition presents possible answers from various areas of digital society. It sheds light on the influence of algorithms on our everyday lives and the power of large online platforms. Furthermore, it invites visitors to explore the connection between theory and practice through artistic exploration and sheds light on the complexity of digital coexistence.
Alexander von Humboldt Institut für Internet und Gesellschaft (HIIG)
Das Alexander von Humboldt Institut für Internet und Gesellschaft (HIIG) erforscht die Entwicklung des Internets aus einer gesellschaftlichen Perspektive, um die Digitalisierung aller Lebensbereiche besser zu verstehen. Als erstes Forschungsinstitut in Deutschland hat das HIIG ein Verständnis erarbeitet, um mit einer transdisziplinären Expertise eine europäische Antwort auf den digitalen Strukturwandel zu entwickeln.
