Like apple, like metal
Everyone knows why you can peel an apple with a knife: the knife has a wedge shape with a sharp edge. It is also made of metal, which is why it is much harder than the flesh of the fruit and therefore does not become blunt so quickly. If a tool is hard enough, even metal can be "peeled". At this test stand, we show you how it's done on a modern computer-controlled machine tool.
