Empire on Display: Reframing the Imperial Legacies of Art
As part of the project "Empire on Display: Reframing the Imperial Legacies of Art”, the MA British Studies students invite you to their exhibition “Shadows of Empire”, where you will learn about the subaltern narratives of British colonialism. This will be done through the lens of six colonial narratives – Indian, Egyptian, Irish, Caribbean, Australian and New Zealand – highlighting the dual narratives of coloniser and colonised. The exhibition will be accompanied by German and English tours and is open to all age groups.
